The BES Team is happy to announce the release of the 2024 British Election Study Expert Survey.
The expert survey asked academics working in British universities to assess the policy positions of the major political parties in Britain. These included parties’ left-right positions, their immigration policies, their redistributive positions, and their attitude towards the EU.
In total, 137 academics partially or fully completed the survey, which reflected a response rate of 57%. The expert survey was administered online. It was fielded between 19th June and 22nd August 2024.
